Valley Center Tennis Club to Host

Tennis Workout with local tennis pro Mark Littrell

Professional tennis instructor and Valley Center resident Mark Littrell will be conducting an adult tennis workout on Saturday, April 10, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Adams Park tennis courts located at 28751 Cole Grade Road.

Mark has held national rankings as a junior, college and professional player. In the 1980s he set a record for the fastest serve in the world at 138mph. Currently ranked #1 in the men’s 40-year-old division in Southern California, he is head tennis professional and tennis director at Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook.

The workout event is being organized and sponsored by Valley Center Tennis Club. Cost is $15 for VCTC members and $20 for nonmembers. Nonmembers who elect to join VCTC within 30 days following the event will have a portion of their workout fee applied toward their 2010 membership dues. Since space is limited, reservations are being accepted on a first come, first served basis. For more information or to make a reservation, e-mail VCTC President Jon Vick at jonvick@valleycentertennis.com or call 760-751-0250.
